These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Attestly (the “Service”), operated by Yousef Abdullah (a sole trader trading as Attestly) (“Attestly”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Attestly helps you respond to security questionnaires by drafting answers from documents and prior answers you provide, and by reusing answers you have approved. Attestly is a drafting and productivity aid. It is not legal, compliance, security, or audit advice, and it does not certify or attest to anything on your behalf.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You may not share your account or API token.
You agree not to: (a) upload content you do not have the right to use; (b) use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; (c) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; (d) resell or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted by your plan; or (e) submit malicious files or content.
You retain all rights to the questionnaires, documents, and answers you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending it to the AI subprocessors described in our Privacy Policy). We do not use Your Content to train our own or third parties’ models.
The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance via our payment processor (Stripe) on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Attestly and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms.
The Service relies on third-party providers (including AI, hosting, and payment providers) listed in our Privacy Policy. Their availability and terms are outside our control.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that answers will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attestly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
